The criminal activities again head up in Bangladesh especially in Dhaka city. Hided criminals already crossing borders and entering again through BSF`s cover. Garments factories again and again attacked. Industrialist was killed that shakes the business community. Hijackers become active. Political armed cadres started practicing muscle tests. Hindu extremist Politicians are brought in face and demonstration already launched against Bangladesh in West Bengal . They might create sabotage and show up terrorism inside Bangladesh border in the name of Islam. Political opportunists might be active in dividing the nation again.

The police department and the RAB are mainly responsible to maintain the law and order situation of the society. These are the last hope for the field level law and order safety. The RAB is a composition of all Bangladeshi forces which was formed during last elected government at the pick time when criminal syndicates appeared as the alternative power centers in the country. But still police department is closer to the peoples which itself wrapped with crimes and know the criminals more than any other government forces. Where police authority itself already grown up with crimes, how could the peoples could put trust on the dignitary leaders that they will change the society and bring peace!

`All big mouthing on fighting against crimes are political`- is a common comment of the public. `Political party leaders accuse their opponents as criminals in their political speech all the times but never go for investigation against the white color crime and made no record of proper judgment and punishment in our country. Criminals are coming out through the corrupt hole of the public institution. Rather politicians think and practice policy that not compromising against crime is a suicidal risk for their political career`- is also the common belief of the society.
The way the accusation for the crimes initiated through out the emergency in the country, the punishment against the accused persons could be materialized in that ratio. But non-cooperation of maximum powerful factors from the behind, caused difference in the initiative and the fighters retreated from the journey and changed the action strategy.

I went see ex- Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in her reception meeting on Sept 16, 08 in NewYork.This is her first public show up in this city after getting the jail experience. It was my one of the curiosity to understand her from close sight and to listen what she speak in this situation.
I went Boston Dole Airport on June 12, 08 also when she came from Bangladesh taking the payroll bail. She did not involve in any political discussion in Airport in that situation. I am grateful to Ex-Minister Munshi Fakhrul Islam, United States Awami league leader Mrs Irene Parvin and her husband AKM Alamgir for their heart –touched cooperation accompanying me in the entire journey to NewYork-Boston-NewYork. I memorize Journalist Hakik Khokon for some information also that I asked him.

In her New York meeting Sheikh Hasina appeared with a new image which is extremely beyond the expectation of Awami leaguers, that’s my observation. She broke the tradition of her party and her own record of speech. Added new. She was shown a political leader of different art and character.It`s hard to comment whether it was dramatic exposure or her new realization. Though the Awami league workers and followers remained involve in fighting and making chaos as they mean as their pattern of politics.Shiekh Hasina did not bite her opponents. Did not waste her maximum time on pulling the audiences to the past pages of history and did not go in controversial chapters of the politics.

She looked calm and quiet.Appeard confident. Show her intelligence of attracting the attentions of the peoples beyond her political wall. She followed a written paper of points for speech and announced the political programme for the next Parliamentary election. This is her Change. Now it’s up to the peoples to accept her appeal with trust or reject it considering her new role as a temporary political drama.
The Interim Government started moving the peoples in new direction fighting against corruptions, demolishing the corrupt syndicates and prepared many reforms programme to make public to the nation. But the Two major political party-leaders and some strong groups did not accept the idea of uniting peoples under these processes.

So, the hard line action made change in it’s nature and started keep relax in attitude. Political process again reviving under the same leadership as it was before.It`s wise that the politicians will run politics independently. But symptoms of opening the battlefield for the violent party cadres and the hard criminals are inviting the severe catastrophe with the changed strategy. The listed armed cadres are entering again in the country and taking positions behind their own political leaders for the shelters.The government listed criminals are also entering in the country from India where there is every possibilities of backing them by Indian agencies as they failed to surrender Army backed government in Indian vested interests.
Its open secret that the criminals and violent cadres take shelter under the care of influential politicians and high level police officers. Police always keep deal with them and share the benefits of crimes as situation matches them. All police are not corrupt. Lots of them decide to keep them honest. Smart police officers or soldiers can survive long time in the profession so far the observations act.Brivery is institutionalized in the department. Without bribe police officers can never join their jobs. There might be exception but it will not be more then 1% any way.
Home Advisor (Minister) Major General (Rtd) Abdul Matin, Home secretary Abdul Karim and Inspector general of police Nur Mohammed might be strong persons.It`s good to hear that reporters could not show any record against them. But when the journalists and police persons collect the bribe from the hotels for each and every sex business that can’t go beyond the records.They turn the residential hotels into illegal sex shops almost every where in metropolitan cities and district cities.Metropolitan police station control the illegal sex sources where the Surgeons are not. They go in other ways.

DIGs grab the bribe through Superintendent of police (SP).An SP who disagrees to fulfill the demand of the Boss he has to digest hard times, no matter what. But for all the postings the stenos and the assistants of DIG office collect the bribe month after month and year after year from every officers and constables under their command.
Why the police officers and constables have to pay bribe for their posting to the RO in all police lines of the country.Why all officers are compelled to pay bribe to OC Armored when go for drawing weapons for his duty? For example; 500.00 taka bribe against 9 MM Pistol. The OC Armored of Razarbag Police is responsible for Dhaka area to collect the money. The same system is working in all metropolitan and the Districts/Ranges.

In all postings of officer–in charge (OC) and sub-inspectors have to pay the SPs through systems of the importance of the bribe collection zone. Some lacs of taka are specified. Why the peoples complain against police for taking bribe these situations are to be brought into research. Why all constables go for collecting bribe from the innocent peoples? Who compel them to commit such crimes? Why in the name of investigation police involve the innocent peoples in baseless criminal cases? These all are for collecting money to keep happy their bosses. In a research campaign peoples confirmed that SP can stop police crime if decides. Metro police Commissioner can stop police crime in city. But that’s not all. There are more factors involved with that.
No police born criminal by birth. All human are same, innocent when born. The system and the institutional process through them in this crime world and related them with other crime syndicates of the country. I have no intension to describe the crime channels of the police department in this article. It is not very important for the readers too. The nation needs to know why the government can’t drive long to stop corruption. Why police department fail to disassociate with the criminals? Why politicians ultimately surrender or negotiate with corrupt peoples? Do the politicians do it intentional or compromise with this unethical activities.
Bangladesh is already in a resistance war against Other’s hegemony and imperialism. This war is imposed. In this situation no scope of escaping anyway.That`s why Bangladesh declared it’s alertness through One Eleven in a certain stage. No one could detect these corruptions which are wrapped in all layers of the country if not go to face it. Now people can easily detect that the local corrupts are shadowed by the nationals, and the national corrupts are backed by the Regional and global heinous. The Intelligence, Defense forces, Beurucrats, Politicians, Educationists, Researchers every professional now know themselves better.
Where as Another Ex-Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia also bailed out from the Jail through legal fight and started political activities. Both Top leaders possibly will discuss on national politics and expose their unity in common interests of the country. Such as; Foreign policies, Defense policies and others, where they realize. Is it as easy as we say easily? The Government and the leaders could agree on it but why the game planners of the Foreign Agencies will tolerate it which resists their hegemonies target?
So, for the sake of keeping law and order situation under control Government have to focus their immediate action to detect the corrupt centers and rectify those in the police department thus the department can stand more vigorously against corruption, violence and terrorism of any form. This will present maximum peace in the society which will broaden the door of democracy. It will strengthen the integrity of the police force too. Why some will forget that the Bangladesh Police also share goodwill in UN Peace core for Bangladesh . Please let police comply their duties independently.
